This is such a gorgeous and unusual bracelet! The colors of deep purple amethysts mixed with sparkling rosy morganites is so pretty! The bracelet is strung very securely with even spacing of the stones. Great secure high quality lobster claw clasp and even has a tiny amethyst and morganite dangling at the end. This is very well made and very thoughtfully done! I am absolutely thrilled with my purchase and will be back for more! Such a charming piece!

I started this shop as a creative outlet to give me a break from the rewarding but very abstract work of teaching philosophy and humanities at college level and to professional adults. I love the concreteness of working with stone and metal, color and form, designing and making, and I both wanted & needed to make it a business and not just a hobby. For the past decade I have been buying and studying gemstones taking metal-smithing classes, and became a certified metal clay instructor. I have worked particularly hard to learn gemology and distinguish real gems and quality from the many fakes and scams so prevalent today. I opened my shop in 2012, and occasionally show in art fairs (annually in my neighborhood). I won a design contest early on for one of my gemstone beaded designs (and I hope it's not the last). At this point designing and making jewelry has become a critical part of my life and living.

I am also passionate about the wilderness and forests and concerned about the effects of deforestation. Every purchase made from Fox and Raven Jewelry will plant a tree by sending a donation to One Tree Planted, a public environmental charity in Shelburne, Vermont devoted to reforestation around the world (including in North America). One Tree Planted began in 2014 and by the end of 2018 had planted more than 2.5 million trees. They've achieved this with low overhead costs, so the money goes to the trees!
